Announcement Update: 04/09/2025
This is a reminder that the Caribbean Regional Response Team (CRRT) meeting will be held Monday, May 19th through Thursday May 22nd, 2025.
We have set up a room block with Courtyard Isla Verde Beach Resort at the government rate of $245 USD per night + $45 hotel fee + 11% Tax. This room block is only good until tomorrow, Friday April 11, 2025.
There are two ways to reserve your hotel room. You can book through the EPA - CRRT Room Reservation Link.
You may also call the hotel reservations department at 787-999-6500 (Monday-Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm). A credit card is required to guarantee each reservation. Each attendee will pay for their room with credit card. Cancellation of hotel rooms must be received by Friday, May 2, 2025, to avoid penalty. For those that reserve a hotel, you are able to get tax exempt via the Puerto Rico Tourism Form.
The agenda is still being developed but for planning purposes we wanted to relay the following.
On Monday, May 19th we will be holding the CRRT Steering Committee Meeting and the USCG Area Committee Meeting. Therefore, if you are not a member of those committees, the first day of attendance will be 8:00 AM on Tuesday, May 20th.
Meeting Registration: We have established a registration website for meeting attendees. If you plan on attending, even if you are not yet sure, please register by Monday, May 12, 2025, at the following website: CRRT Registration. Please register individually and only register once.
Additional meeting information will be posted on the CRRT 2025 Website and disseminated by email. If you are not currently on the email distribution list and would like to receive future meeting and other CRRT-related information, please contact me by email. Likewise, if you no longer wish to receive CRRT-related emails, please let me know and I will remove you from our distribution lists.
To ensure that all interested representatives are made aware of this meeting, please pass on this notice to any other members of your staff or agency/department, and to your local counterparts as well.
