RRT Operations Manual
The Region IV Regional Response Team (RRT) Operations Manual was developed to provide members and associated organizations or individuals guidance, by-laws, and standard operating procedures of the RRT. These procedures and processes support the RRT’s purpose, vision, mission, and goals. This document also provides a one-stop medium for member and other organization/individual contact information, standing committee membership, policies and guidance, the RRT’s Strategic Plan, fact sheets, and the RRT’s current Work Plan.

Strategic Plan
Our mission is to protect public health, welfare, safety, and the environment by ensuring coordinated, efficient, and effective support of the responding federal, state, and local On Scene Coordinators and Remedial Project Managers to significant oil and hazardous substance incidents within Federal Region IV as mandated by the National Contingency Plan (NCP). We are also committed towards providing for the development and coordination of preparedness activities prior to a pollution incident by addressing regional issues and providing guidance to Federal Region IV Area Committees (ACs), State Emergency Response Commissions (SERCs), and Local Emergency Planning Committees (LEPCs). Read our strategic plan to learn more about our mission and vision.
