RRT III MEETING - JANUARY 10-12, 2012:

The upcoming Regional Response Team III meeting will be held January 10-12, 2012 at The Williamsburg Hospitality House, 415 Richmond Road, Williamsburg, Virginia 23185.

HOTEL REGISTRATION:

To make your reservations, please call 1-800-932-9192 or (757) 229-4020, and please identify yourself as attending the Regional Response Team III (RRT III) meeting. The Williamsburg Hospitality Hotel will offer the government rate of $77 for single or double occupancy guest rooms plus 10% taxes and $2 Williamsburg occupancy tax. The hotel does accept the federal tax-exempt form with government I.D. If possible you may send the tax exempt form early. I encourage you to make your reservations by December 9, 2011 to assure rate and availability. Please call early to make your reservations. This will let me know if I need to increase or decrease the room block. Check-in time is 3 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m. The current government rate for meals and incidentals in Williamsburg is $51. Reservations must be guaranteed by a credit card but the hotel will not pre-charge the credit card until the guest arrives. To cancel reservations or to change the length of hotel stay, the hotel must be notified by 5 p.m., 24 hours prior to the arrival date to avoid a cancellation fee of $35, or a guest no-show fee that is equivalent to one night's room and tax.

THE WILLIAMSBURG HOSPITALITY HOUSE:

The Williamsburg Hospitality House is located two blocks from the historic area of Colonial Williamsburg, close to Merchant’s Square, and across the street from the College of William and Mary. The Hospitality House features 296 elegant guestrooms, complimentary underground parking and parking behind the hotel, a small fitness center, and a gift shop. The hotel offers complimentary WIFI guest room Internet service and complimentary WIFI basic meeting room Internet service. The 415 Grill features steaks, chops, seafood, and a full service club-style bar with specialty drinks and martinis. DIRECTIONS TO THE WILLIAMSBURG HOSPITALITY HOUSE:

Driving:
From I-95 to I-295, take the I-64/US-60 exit towards Norfolk - Richmond. Then, the directions are the same: I-64 East (from Richmond), I-64 West (from Norfolk). Take Exit 238 off I-64 and follow the signs to Colonial Williamsburg. Turn right on Route 132 (not Route 132Y). Proceed straight through the traffic light. After crossing the railroad tracks, go through the traffic light and take the next right on Scotland Street. The Williamsburg Hospitality House will be on the right corner of Scotland Street and Richmond Road.

By Air:
Three airports serve Williamsburg: Norfolk, Richmond, and Newport News/Williamsburg International Airports. Most air carriers service the Norfolk and Richmond Airports, and each airport is approximately 45 miles from Williamsburg. Newport News/Williamsburg Airport is 20 miles away and is served by US Air and Air Tran. Airport transportation costs by taxi from Newport News/Williamsburg Airport is $35-38 one way; from Norfolk International Airport is $75-80 one way; and Richmond Airport is $45 one way.
