RRT III MEETING – SEPTEMBER 13-15, 2010:
The rescheduled Regional Response Team III meeting will be held September 13-15, 2010 at the Clarion Resort Fontainebleau Hotel, 10100 Coastal Highway, Ocean City, Maryland 21842-2698. Our meeting schedule will be Monday afternoon, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
HOTEL REGISTRATION:
To make your reservations, please call 1-800-638-2100 or (410) 524-3535, and please identify yourself as attending the Regional Response Team III (RRT III) meeting. The Clarion Resort Fontainebleau Hotel will offer the government rate of $104 for single or double occupancy guest rooms plus 10.5% state and local tax. Guests will be tax exempt if they provide a Federal tax-exempt form with government I.D. and pay with a tax exempt government-issued credit card at the time of check-in. I encourage you to make your reservations by August 12, 2010 to assure rate and availability. Please call early to make your reservations. This will let me know if I need to increase or decrease the room block. Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m. The current government rate for meals and incidentals in Ocean City is $71. Reservations must be guaranteed by a credit card but the hotel will not pre-charge the credit card until the guest arrives. To cancel reservations or to change the length of hotel stay, the hotel must be notified 72 hours prior to the arrival date to avoid a cancellation fee that is equivalent to one night's room and tax.

The Clarion Resort Fontainebleau Hotel is located at 10100 Coastal Highway, Ocean City, Maryland, 21842. DIRECTIONS TO THE CLARION RESORT FONTAINBLEAU HOTEL:
Driving:
From Philadelphia and points North: Follow I-95 South towards Wilmington, DE. From I-95 South take 495 South around Wilmington back to I-95 South. Take exit 4A, Route 1/Route 7 Christiana Mall Road. Follow the signs to Route 1 South towards Dover and then the signs to Route 13 South/Route 1 South towards the Delaware Shore Points. When Route 13 and Route 1 split, stay on Route 1. Follow Route 1 through the Delaware Beaches to Ocean City where it becomes Coastal Highway. The Clarion Hotel is located at 101st Street and the ocean.
From Baltimore: Take 695 Beltway to Route 97 South (follow the signs directing traffic toward the Bay Bridge-Annapolis area). Follow 97 South to Route 50 East. Follow Route 50 East over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge ($2.50 toll eastbound), through Easton, Cambridge, and Salisbury. As you approach Ocean City, Route 50 splits with Route 90. Take Route 90 East over the two bridges and Route 90 will end at Coastal Highway. Turn left onto Coastal Highway and continue approximately 40 blocks to 101st Street, and the Clarion Resort Fontainebleau Hotel will be on your right.
From all points South: Take I-95 North to VA 58 East in Emporia, VA. Take VA Route 58 East and follow signs for Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel (toll is $12 @ way). Follow MD Route 13 North to Pocomoke City and Route 113 North. Take Route 113 North to Route 90 East into Ocean City. Route 90 ends at Coastal Highway in Ocean City. Turn left onto Coastal Highway and continue approximately 40 blocks to 101st Street. The Clarion Resort will be on your right.
INLAND AREA COMMITTEE AND WORKGROUP MEETINGS:

Coast Guard Sector Hampton Roads, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the State of Maryland will hold the Virginia and Coastal Maryland Area Committee meeting following the RRT III standing meeting on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Clarion Resort Fontainebleau Hotel.
