| | The JCP provides a coordinated system for planning, preparedness and responding to harmful substance incidents in the contiguous waters. |
| | In 1994, the EPA and the Minister for the Department of Environment signed the Canada-U.S. Joint Inland Pollution Contingency Plan which provides for co-operative measures for dealing with accidental and unauthorized releases of pollutants. The Inland plan is made up of regional Annexes/plans. This document is the southern component of CANUSWEST Annex. This portion of CANUSWEST covers only inland boundary between British Columbia and the states of Washington Idaho and Montana. |
